Sam Harrelson is the 7th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher at Carolina Day School located in beautiful Asheville, NC. Sam also teaches Exploratory classes on iOS app development, robotics and programming essentials at CDS.

Sam has previously taught middle school at Spartanburg Day School and Hammond School, both in South Carolina. Previously, he taught at Newberry High School and the University of South Carolina. Sam has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Old Testament at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC.

He attended Mullins High School, Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, Yale University, University of South Carolina and Gardner-Webb Divinity School as well as completing a three year appointment with AmeriCorps.

Sam also manages a podcasting network called Thinking.FM.
